Rusty Spokes

This is a casual riding group, mostly retired, who meet weekly at 9:00 am on Wednesdays for a relaxing 20km country ride to enjoy each other’s company, the landscape, to have a few laughs, and to get a little exercise. The group stays together averaging around 18 kms/hour; for larger rides upwards of 30 members have turned out.

Formed in 2001, the group has been growing ever since and there are approximately 100 members.

The group also holds an annual inner-tube ride down the Mississippi River, an annual old-fashioned corn-boil, and a season-ending breakfast.
